About Donna Volpe

Donna has been a lifetime resident of East Islip and has raised her daughter and son here as well.  She has owned and operated a local business selling and installing whole house water filtration and purification systems in East Islip for 25 years.  She attended college on Long Island, graduating from Hofstra University and holds an MBA in Finance.  An active community advocate, she has been involved with many civic and charitable organizations, including DDI, Habitat for Humanity, EJ Autism, and Girl Scouts, amongst others.  Donna's financial background, coupled with her real estate knowledge and experience, creates a unique skill set to assist buyers and sellers in the Islips and the surrounding areas in transitioning to a new home. 

With a keen interest in photography and journalism, Donna is an avid traveler, both domestic and internationally.  Visiting friends and family while traveling, and gathering information regarding real estate in each of those areas, has become a pivotal part of her focus in traveling. Taking a journalistic approach both visually and literally, she has generated a wealth of fascinating documentation and has published articles and blogs pertaining to cultural activities and norms, foods and celebrations, as well as real estate idiosyncrasies and values in areas spanning the distance from Alaska to the South Pacific, and Iceland to the Amalfi Coast.
